Flame is a neighbourhood pizzeria started in 2014 by locals Steve and Jess.

A destiny defined by love and pizza
Steve started throwing pizza dough at 14. Jess was boxing up slices in her final years of school. They’d never met, but mutual friends were sure they’d be perfect for each other, so they agreed to meet. Over pizza, of course.
In 2014 they opened Flame in North Nowra: the pizzeria they’d always wanted, built on that shared love of a good pizza.

Steve and the kitchen team hand make, hand roll and hand throw every Flame pizza base. We top them with quality fresh, seasonal ingredients and fire them in the woodfire oven for a medium, chewy crust and golden cheese.
From traditional classics to our own Signature creations, every pizza comes to your table hot, or boxed up for you to take home.
The team
Local people, friendly service
Jess and Steve are well-travelled locals who grew up in the Shoalhaven, and so did the Flame team. They’re a friendly, fast and professional crew who know the menu inside out, and they keep the warmth of a real local pizza place: somewhere people come together to share good food and a laugh.
